Update and Latex Pictures!

I have been very quiet lately, I was visiting the UK for the last month without my laptop.
I went to Download Festival and saw a lot of my family.

I did have some shoots lined up but unfortunately as things sometimes do, they fell through. But I did go to a retro car show and got some nice pictures there, and also did a little home shoot with my newborn nephew! 

What I will show today though are some more pictures from my shoot with Ravina Rapture.
This set of images are based on a sweet Dolly look but with some awesome latex.
Again with the use of coloured gels I think the photos just pop, I love how well the yellow works.

Here are some pictures from a shoot I did a while ago now, but haven't blogged about it.

I was very excited for this shoot after finding out what goodies 

Ravina Rapture had in store for it.

This outfit is just one of many that we got through on the day.

I was a bit nervous for this shoot as well since I hadn't worked in a studio for a while.

I soon got back into the rhythm and I am very pleased with the outcome.

I used coloured gels on the lights to get the different coloured backgrounds and I think it makes the images stand out. There is very little post production on these.

A Little Bit Of Summer

The other week I had a shoot at Canvey Island in Essex. I met Eden Alt Model at a nearby train station and we drove to Canvey Island, watching the black clouds as they descended upon us. 

We parked and had a scout around only to be watched by many eager men who were working on a building site. Eden managed to change in an outside toilet (very glam this modelling lark!) and we were ready. 

She had brought some amazing latex, a cute nautical bikini! We thought Canvey would be the perfect backdrop to the latex to get a really retro feel to the images. 

Just as we started taking photos the sun appeared! 

I am moving to Sweden tomorrow, I leave to get the ferry tomorrow to Denmark and then we drive from there. Well, I drive from there, my other half doesn't drive too well. Hopefully I will find some local models and get some interesting images with a totally different landscape and feel to them.

Asylum: Latex

Another outfit from my trip to the abandoned asylum - Yuliya brought some lovely vintage style latex lingerie.

I was pleased as I love latex and haven't shot that much of it, yet.

I am really happy with the images from the room we did the latex in, the light just seemed so perfect and all the colours of the mold and broken brickwork stands out.

In the room with all the open doors we all felt quite creeped out. We wondered what all the little rooms were for and we came to the conclusion that they were patients rooms, i even found the name of a  patient still on the back of one of the doors...

Even though the sun was shining through the windows and it made it feel slightly warmer and the room was bright yellow, we still felt uncomfortable.

There will be one for post on this shoot with Yuliya's last outfit, and a room she found the most difficult to stay in...

Due to typical British weather one of my shoots from this week had been cancelled, but it has been rescheduled. I have quite a busy couple of weeks coming up, fitting in a few shoots before I move to Sweden on the 8th April.

Rockabilly, Burlesque and Nurse Shoot

Another shoot from last week, with Lucretia Lavena. I really love this first outfit, more of a casual bikini beach feel with some sunglasses, suits the weather at the moment.

Even though we got stuck in traffic on the way to the studio and turned up ten minutes before we were meant to leave the studio, we got a lot done. As it was in my uni we stayed and waited until someone knocked on the door and told us to leave, but no one did so we did what we wanted to do.
