Jester Inspired Shoot

It's been forever since i updated this blog. But i have done a few shoots this year, but i have kind of lost interest which is a sad thing to say. It's so hard here in sweden where i moved to to find anyone who wants to be photographed.

This one was spring time i think, warm enough to start going out like this anyway.
A local cemetary worked really well for the backdrop.

Spring Photo Shoot

This was a shoot I did a couple of months ago, when the first spring flowers were budding around Sweden. I wanted to incorporate a spring theme, so we found a great spot in the forest with so many white spring flowers growing. The rest of the leaves on the trees etc were still bare but the ground was so pretty.

Here we have LiWe wearing my Bodyline Squirrel Party sweet lolita dress, my wig and mostly my accessories. She wanted to do wear lolita and i thought the colours would go well with the spring theme.

Shot on my 50mm lens as usual.

Spring Bunny

Here are the last photos from my bunny shoot.

I did enjoy doing the shoot on the beach by the lake, it is a really lovely backdrop. And literally just outside my door! I wanted to get the blue water in the background of the shoot because i thought it would be a nice colour backdrop.

It is usually really windy in town here because of the lake, but it wasn't too bad the day we shot. Although we were both pretty cold!

Again, here, trying to keep the shadows out of LiWe's face by turning her away from the sun.

Here we found a wall of some kind of green climbing plant, so I thought using it as a foreground/background thing would be nice and the green felt like spring!

Here there is some lens flare in these photos, as LiWe was in the shade I was facing the sun. I don't mind, I am a fan of it but some people do not like it.

I have some more photos for my next post from this shoot, so check back in a little while. And thanks for reading! You can see my newest updates on my facebook page.

Red

Here is the last of the images from my shoot last summer.

Looking back on these, I do really love the colours. I am quite proud I managed to make do in the shadows on such a sunny day! I had trouble with shadows on a models face just this week, but I will get to that in another post...

It's surprising what you can achieve in the local Rose Park.

You will notice that in some of these there are plants/bushes in the foreground, that is another thing I like including in my images.

The last three are some of my absolute favourites from this shoot. I love how the lens flare went across the models neck as she had her hands up, talk about perfect.
Do you guys have any favourites? Let me know in the comments!

As always, thanks for reading, and you can keep a check on my more regular updates on my

Machete

I thought it was about time to update my blog with some more photos from my last shoot.

The second outfit of the day was this one with this awesome machete. It was really fun to have this in the photos, I haven't done anything like it before. Again, I was playing around with the intense sunlight, creating lens flares. I had to keep the sun behind Sara otherwise the shadows on her face were too intense.

We saw this log that was in a field of really long grass, we decided to wade through the grass to find out it was surrounded by stinging nettles. That was fun. Although, worth it.

I hope these photos brought some summer to these dark nights!
Thanks for reading, and why not check out my facebook page.
