Willy Wonka Themed Shoot!

So I have always loved Tim Burton's remake Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, even though I do love the original too. But when Burton's came out some years ago I got a little obsessed and bought a replica jacket and goggles. But I made my Wonka cane equipped with multicolour "sweets" on the inside.

This is what I was aiming for!

The green was for the chocolate factory field. But yeah, here you have a pin up female Willy Wonka :)

Here are some photos from my shoot last week with Hot Rod Bettie!

Here we tried a more burlesque looking outfit.

I can't believe I am off for Easter break already next week, then i have to hand everything in on the 12th May!! Then it will all be over....I will have to live in the real world!!

Rockabilly, Burlesque and Nurse Shoot

Another shoot from last week, with Lucretia Lavena. I really love this first outfit, more of a casual bikini beach feel with some sunglasses, suits the weather at the moment.

All change!
Another favourite theme of mine, nautical.

All change!
Burlesque. Equipped with feather fan, latex garter belt and pasties.

All change!
Nurse outfit.

Even though we got stuck in traffic on the way to the studio and turned up ten minutes before we were meant to leave the studio, we got a lot done. As it was in my uni we stayed and waited until someone knocked on the door and told us to leave, but no one did so we did what we wanted to do.

As always, see the rest on my facebook page.

Military Pinup

Here are some photos from last week, of Poppy Scarlet in her lovely Bettie Page Clothing military style dress.
Poppy really knows how to get the look I was after.

I love military pinups, maybe a little bit more than sailor girls! There is just something about them, makes me think of the morale that surrounded them. And also makes me think of Elvis Presley in some of his films!

This dress, and the blue dress are both for sale now on ebay, Poppy is trying to raise some money.

Bon Voyage Shoot

Here are some more images from my group shoot last week, this is Poppy Scarlet in a beautiful dress from Bettie Page Clothing.

She looks as if she is off to join the Titanic.

I am very happy with these images. With each shoot I actually feel as if I have progressed, and think that it is the best I have done so far. So that's always good.

I am also taking bookings for pinup makeover photoshoots whilst I am finishing my degree to fund my exhibitions. I am also viewing some places for a potential studio once my course has finished!
Very exciting!

Hula Hula Girl

So last week for my shoot I wanted to do a tiki hula girl theme, I dug out my old grass skirt and flower necklace I had for a fancy dress party a few years ago.

What made me want to do it was that I bought a amazing top from Collectif with tiki print and I wanted to use it.

For the rest of the set visit my photography facebook page.
And you will also find the model details on there to find the lovely Bexy Beatdown.

Fuller Figure Fuller Bust

Here are some more finished images from the shoot I did with Georgina from her blog Fuller Figure Fuller Bust.

She is a beautiful woman and I am glad I asked her and that she said yes to modelling, considering she hadn't done much modelling before she did an amazing job.

It is nice to use what people seem to be calling "real girls" rather than your usual run of the mill glamour models that you see everywhere, and the feedback is almost overwhelming for this set of images.

All the dresses she is wearing are from Pinup Girl Clothing who make lovely, well made clothing that actually fits you. Check them out.

I will be editing images for a few days straight to get this shoot finished, as I have two more coming up this week. Oh and my favourite lens is away getting fixed :( So that's always helpful.

Oh yeah, I really hate dirty studio floors -_____-

Happy Mother's Day

So it's mother's day today and I am leaving now to work in a cafe with my mum which is always nice, apart from it being ridiculously busy.

So here is something more along the lines of the occasion.
A photoshoot I did for a friend when she was pregnant with her first child.

And a shoot when her daughter was only a few months old.

These are the father's hands.

I hope my mum likes her present of afternoon tea!

At The Beach...In The Studio

I have been a busy girl editing images this week. Just finished the pictures from last week of Julia, and have done one for each model from Tuesday's group shoot.

Here are a couple more of my favourites of Julia.

Here we busted out the fan and blew it right in her face, bless her!

And one a bit less cheesey......

The fantastic Poppy Scarlet brought along so amazing props and ideas for our shoot on Tuesday. And here is one of her ideas:

Here I used coloured jels on a light, creating the blue, but tweaked the floor digitally to look yellow for a sandy feel. And yes, that is a Michael Jackson 'Thriller' themed tattoo! Amazing.

I had also been wanting to do a tiki themed pin-up shoot and had managed to put one together I think, with Bexy Beatdown.

Here I used what was supposed to be an orange jel but it gave a nice pastel colour that seemed to work with this theme.

Been a good week, even though I was ill monday night before the shoot from reheated pizza! I am very very happy with the results, and will be working this these models again soon.

New Pin Up Shoot

Yesterday I had a great long day shooting three different lovely ladies for my pin up stuff.

And today I was told that apperently I take the sort of photographs I take because I am addicted to pornography but don't have the guts to go all the way.

No.

I take these photographs because the art of pin-up is the complete opposite to most pornographies. I want to make my girls the most beautiful girls around, so that every man (an soldier!) would long for her when he is away.
Pin-up and cheesecake style is cheeky and mainly just, well, fun! I don't know any female who wouldn't want to be photographed in this style - to look gorgeous.
I have nothing against pornography and those who make it, but that is not what I am doing.

Anyway, here is a new photo from yesterday with the gorgeous Georgina from her blog Fuller Figure Fuller Bust

New Pin Up Shoot

Yesterday I had a goregous girl come to the studio to model for me, and she had never done it before.
I contacted her because she really looked the part for my retro pin up stuff. And she really made me glad I asked her!

Here are a few of the images I have edited so far. I am definitely thinking the colourful backgrounds work better.

And my favourite photo ever..........
