Throwback Thursday: Another Steampunk Shoot

Since I haven't managed to do a photo shoot in what seems forever, I am going to post something about an old shoot that I didn't blog about at the time.

     Here is an old shoot I did when I was studying at University in 2012, we did a few outfits and this                  is the Steampunk style images we shot that day rather than my studio pin-up stuff. 

I met the lovely Victoria Plum at a great location that happened to have some ruins from an old church.

I also wanted to say that this blog has got over 10105 views!! Strange to think that even though I am having so much trouble to getting a photo shoot now here in Sweden.

Snow Theme

As we had some snow the other week, i wanted to get out in it for some photos.
I couldn't get anyone to model for me at that short notice, so i decided to throw on my white dress and hair falls and ask my other half to try and take a nice one of me for a change. 

Here is one i took of some leaves, sadly the snow had melted enough to not stay on trees and leaves by the day I decided to do this.  

Not bad at all! Here is one i took of him, he will hate me for putting this up but he doesn't have to know!

And some big news, i am moving to Sweden in April. So if you want a shoot, now is the time to get in touch.

Medway Steampunk Event

I went along to the Medway Festival of Steam and Transport on Easter Sunday, as they were doing a special Steampunk market, fashion show, talk and more for the Steampunk lovers.

I drove through lots of rain everywhere to get there, but it didn't rain at all the whole time we were there! I had my new corset on, my spat style leg warmers, my belt, many accessories and of course my goggles. It's nice as what somoene said about the Steampunk fashion that day is that you can spot a fellow Steampunker from across the room, just look out for goggles. It's a good tip.

I had a great day and met lots of new people. The Steampunk community seem to be a tight-knight one in person, everyone seems to know everyone and being an outsider is a little difficult. People seem much more friendly online in the communities I am included in.

I hope to attend a lot more Steampunk events and get a bit more friendly with the people there. I love photographing the Steampunk community, everyone looks amazing.

Steampunk at Hemel Hempstead

The other week I did a Steampunk style shoot at Hemel Hempstead. I was really pleased to see an email from a model, Jenevieve Vaudine Van-Veda I had admired for a while, I knew she lived all the way in Wales so I hadn't bothered getting in contact for a shoot, but then she emailed me asking if I would like to do one with her. And I jumped at the chance. We met at Hemel Hempstead and here's what we got up to!

Jenevieve put together the amazing outfit from a vintage wedding dress she had altered. She had put so much thought into this outfit it is stunning.

Willy Wonka Themed Shoot!

So I have always loved Tim Burton's remake Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, even though I do love the original too. But when Burton's came out some years ago I got a little obsessed and bought a replica jacket and goggles. But I made my Wonka cane equipped with multicolour "sweets" on the inside.

This is what I was aiming for!

The green was for the chocolate factory field. But yeah, here you have a pin up female Willy Wonka :)

Steampunk Anyone?

I am looking for some people who have lots of steampunk attire to photograph. I love everything steampunk and have done for a couple of years now, and now that it has boomed there are so many clothes and accessories available. But unfortunately I cannot own everything, so am asking people to volunteer in their own full steampunk outfits for me!
