Vintage Cars

As I have had a lack of photoshoots lately after moving, I had a quick look through my pictures and I haven't blogged about quite a few photoshoots.

So here is something a little different, vintage cars!

I have been to quite a lot of classic/vintage car shows in the UK and here are some of my favourite photographs from them.

Flapper Girl

Another update with more shots from High Elm Manor with Jenevieve Van-Veda Alt Model

I seriously can't get enough of her, she amazes me every time we shoot!

Again, we were going for a very vintage feel to the images which means a lot of post production work for me that I haven't done much of before really. 

But I do think it works! 

I personally like the mix of black and white and a bit of skin colour in this set.

For whoever wants to know about me, I have been living in Sweden for nearly a month now. It is very strange, I am struggling with the language. But it is so beautiful here!

I have even been in contact with some models, although travelling to some models out here is much further than the UK as it is a bigger place. But I think I should be arranging some stuff soon.

Other than that I have a convention I am going to this week so I might get some interesting photos there. There is a huge Steampunk theme to it this year for all your Steampunk fans :)
I will be dressing head to toe in my Steampunk gear!

More from the Manor House

Here is another set from the Manor House shoot I did a while ago with Jenevieve Van-Veda Alt Model. 

As well as the stunning cream vintage outfit she brought, she made this amazing flapper inspired dress and accessories. 

The Manor house was perfect for this outfit too we couldn't wait to use the grand staircase as a backdrop. 

These images have some of the most post production work I have done on my images, but Jenevieve and I talked about making a particular look in this set that is inspired by vintage photographs. And I do think that we managed to accomplish this. 

I am still working on images of another two outfits from this shoot so I still have so much more to show. 

And also, as some of you may know already, I have now moved to Sweden! I really have no idea how long it will take to get to grips with things here, but I do want to get back into shooting. But some other things may come first now :( Although, I should have a photoshoot with a local(ish) band at some point!

Vintage Dolly

Last week I was lucky enough to be asked to do another shoot with the very talented Jenevieve Van-Veda. Not only that, she had arranged it to be shot at a Manor House! 

Since it was such an awesome location, I asked a fellow photographer Jasmine Lilly if she would kindly lend her lighting kit and come along to join in. 

This is just one of the amazing outfits that Jenevieve had put together.

Her other outfits include a stunning 1920s style flapper dress with extra long trail, and some epic boots with a Buffalo Skull...

In The Snow

To think back and look at my first few shoots of this year. Here is one them, complete with February snow!

I seem to like these in black and white better, but the colour ones are still nice to show the vibrancy of her skirt.

English Summer Continued

Here is the rest of the classic British beach shoot.

Complete with good old grey clouds and overcast sun, just for the day we did the shoot!

I am very pleased with the colours of the water and sky in these images. Even though it was a grey day the sea had a lovely green tinge to it, and a polarizing filter brought the colours out deliciously.
