Spring Bunny

Here are the last photos from my bunny shoot.

I did enjoy doing the shoot on the beach by the lake, it is a really lovely backdrop. And literally just outside my door! I wanted to get the blue water in the background of the shoot because i thought it would be a nice colour backdrop.

It is usually really windy in town here because of the lake, but it wasn't too bad the day we shot. Although we were both pretty cold!

Again, here, trying to keep the shadows out of LiWe's face by turning her away from the sun.

Here we found a wall of some kind of green climbing plant, so I thought using it as a foreground/background thing would be nice and the green felt like spring!

Here there is some lens flare in these photos, as LiWe was in the shade I was facing the sun. I don't mind, I am a fan of it but some people do not like it.

I have some more photos for my next post from this shoot, so check back in a little while. And thanks for reading! You can see my newest updates on my facebook page.

Easter Bunny Shoot

My first shoot of 2015! Yay! It seems my shoots this year might be happening more... I am finally meeting some models who are kind of local to me here.

Here was my first shoot, I wanted to do an Easter Bunny themed shoot. But with a Swedish twist! The Easter eggs here are cardboard eggs that you fill yourself with candy, no chocolate eggs here like in the UK...

Here you can see model LiWe with some of those eggs as well as feathers, which are also used here to decorate things with for Easter. Don't ask me why, if you want to find out i am sure you can read about it on Google...

So we met up on the beach of the second largest lake in Sweden, where i live, and here are the results!

And here LiWe mentioned that it is a big deal in Sweden when these buds come out on the trees, it means spring is finally here! So we tried to feature them in some photos.

I was quite pleased with the results, I think we were both a little rusty but it came out ok.
It was quite sunny with no clouds so I had to keep the sun behind her to avoid shadows on her face, although I didn't do this for the first photos with the eggs as I reallllly wanted the water in the background, but luckily the shadows aren't that bad.
As usual, I used my canon 50mm fixed lens at f1.8, i am getting another error message when i try to use it at f2.8 but i have no money to get it fixed OTL

I have some more photos for my next post from this shoot, so check back in a little while. And thanks for reading! You can see my newest updates on my facebook page.

Red

Here is the last of the images from my shoot last summer.

Looking back on these, I do really love the colours. I am quite proud I managed to make do in the shadows on such a sunny day! I had trouble with shadows on a models face just this week, but I will get to that in another post...

It's surprising what you can achieve in the local Rose Park.

You will notice that in some of these there are plants/bushes in the foreground, that is another thing I like including in my images.

The last three are some of my absolute favourites from this shoot. I love how the lens flare went across the models neck as she had her hands up, talk about perfect.
Do you guys have any favourites? Let me know in the comments!

As always, thanks for reading, and you can keep a check on my more regular updates on my

Fishtail

Today I will be talking about the final outfit of my last shoot with Sara Hedgren.

We were in a public park not 5 minutes from where I live where Sara stripped off and walked around in her bra amongst the elderly people in the park, who didn't blink an eye. Although one lady did stop to tell her she looks beautiful! I guess that is what it is like in Sweden, not so prude as in the UK ;)

In the park there is this lovely white gazebo which worked out quite well, but I enjoy just using the flowers and plants in my photos too.

As I said before for this shoot the sun was so strong that day I had to keep Sara in the shade and use the shade to my advantage, as well as use the lens flare to my advantage. I was only using my 50mm lens for the whole shoot, it is my favourite lens as I am a massive fan of blurred bokeh.

I guess it will be the new year before the final blog post about this shoot!
Have a great new year and happy holidays, and thanks for reading :)
